Make an A4 assignment easy to read and submit.

A strong assignment print is not about decorative formatting. It is about a predictable layout: legible type, safe margins, sensible page breaks and a final check before you add the file to a cart.

Set up the page deliberately

Use an A4 page size in your document editor. Keep body text and line spacing readable, and use heading styles consistently so a long document is easy to scan. If your faculty supplies a format, follow it first; this guide does not replace course instructions.

Leave room around the content

Do not put text, page numbers or important diagram labels directly against the edge. A sensible margin makes an assignment easier to read and gives a little tolerance for normal printing variation. Check your document’s page setup instead of adding spaces or empty lines to force a layout.

Example: a 12-page submission

Before exporting, verify that the cover page is first, the contents page has the correct page numbers, and a diagram does not split across pages. Open the exported PDF and compare pages 1, 2, a middle page and the final page with the source document. Then upload the final PDF and confirm its detected page count.

Before you pay

Review the file name, number of copies and selected live print option in your cart. If the work has a binding or special submission requirement, use only an option that the current PrintBee form actually offers.
